Complete your order and pay for shipping

We are happy to announce that now you can complete your Kickstarter order, e.g. select the preferred Flipper Zero case color, specify your shipping address, and optionally include some cool add-ons in your order. This is a required step, without which we will not be able to ship your device to you.

In a few next days we'll be gradually sending the surveys from the BackerKit pledge manager. Check email inbox that's connected to your Kickstarter account.

Required steps:

1. Click the button in the letter.
2. Choose the preferred case color. You can choose different colors if you have multiple Flippers.
3. Specify shipping address.
4. (Optional) Select add-ons.
5. Fill in credit card data. We'll charge the card closer to the shipping date, not immediately. You can also edit your order until mid April.

Be careful not to get to the tricks of fraudsters. Check the letter and the link, they must look exactly as on the screenshots. Check that the survey is sent from [email protected] and that the letter is signed correctly.

Taking the Survey

Let me guide you through the confirmation process.

Choose the Color

The first question in the survey is about the case color. There are two options: white and black.

If you have a multiple Flippers pledge, you'll be asked multiple times. For example if you have a 3X pledge, you can choose different colors for all three devices.

Add-ons

The next step allows you to include optional add-ons in your order. Ordered two Flippers on Kickstarter, but decided to get another one later? This is for you!

Besides additional Flippers, there is a cool silicone case and prototyping boards available here. Please note that some add-ons are limited per backer, so if you can't add more, you've reached the limit.

Shipping Address

Here comes the most important step: specifying your shipping address.

As the tip on the right says, you'll be able to update the address later, so don't worry if you suddenly move to another place.

Review your Order

After filling all the fields up, you can review your order.

Pledge level is the amount you've already paid through Kickstarter. Add-ons line is the total for all the add-ons you've chosen previously. Pretty obvious.

When you backed Flipper Zero on Kickstarter, you didn't pay for shipping, so you'll be charged for that through BackerKit. Shipping Total is the amount you'll have to pay for delivery of both the Flipper and your add-ons. It varies depending on the total weight and shipping country, same as Taxes.

Fill in credit card data

The last step is to fill in your credit card number to pay the order total. Payments are processed directly through our Stripe account, so that's totally secure.

You will not be charged at that moment. After clicking Place My Order, your card and the order details will be saved for further processing, just like on Kickstarter. We'll be charging cards later, closer to the shipping date, and you'll be able to change everything in your order up to that moment. You can change the case color selection, add or remove the add-ons and modify your shipping address after completing the survey.

Shipping and Taxes

💰 How the shipping cost is calculated? Why is it so expensive?

The shipping cost is based on the total order weight and the destination country. We did everything we could to make shipping as cheap as possible, but for some countries it can still be quite high due to COVID.

Initial shipping cost for some countries was more than $70, but we decided to limit it to $35 and pay the rest by ourselves. The list of destinations with shipping discount from us: Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belize, Bermuda, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Faroe Islands, French Guiana, Georgia, Gibraltar, Guam, Guatemala, Holy See, Iceland, India, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Maldives, Martinique, Mauritius, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Qatar, Russia, Rwanda, Réunion, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Uzbekistan.

👮 Can you lower the declared customs value? Can you mark the package as a gift?

We understand that lowering the customs value or marking the package as a gift may help you to avoid extra duties in some countries, but we can't do that, because it's illegal and violates insurance.

🛫 Where do you ship from? Is there a local delivery?

Large batches will be shipped to USA, Canada, EU and Australia and then distributed to backers by local delivery.

Backers from other countries will get a direct delivery from our Hong Kong warehouse. We're trying our best to offer local delivery for more countries and will notify you if anything changes.

💸 Are there any extra duties to pay?

Backers from some regions like Canada, Australia, United Kingdom and EU will pay taxes directly in the pledge manager.

Other destinations will show zero taxes in the pledge manager, but it doesn't mean it's duty-free. You might end up paying local taxes upon receiving your order depending on your local laws. For example, US and Russian customers are unlikely to face extra duties, due to $800 and €200 duty-free thresholds respectively.

📨 I haven't received my survey

We are sending the surveys to the email you used in your Kickstarter account. If you've lost access to your email, send us your new address in the Kickstarter messages. If everything looks right, but you still haven't received the survey, just wait, the surveys are being sent gradually.

If you signed in with Apple, there is a special procedure for you: check your Kickstarter inbox for an additional survey we've sent to you to collect your real email addresses, because we can't use Apple Private Relay addresses.

✏️ What if I move? What if I want to change the color?

You can edit your order at any time, even after completing the survey. At some point we'll lock the orders, but rest assured, we'll warn you about that in advance.

It's best to complete the survey now and then update it if anything changes. Most likely we will not lock the orders until mid April.

💳 When will you charge the card?

Your card will be charged closer to the shipping date. First we will lock the orders, and later we will charge the cards, so you'll have an option to fix the payment if your card expires.
